Year 8: HPV vaccinations

Your child is now due their Human Papillomavirus vaccination.
This vaccine is part of the Childhood Immunisation Programme. Following the success of the
HPV programme and how effective the vaccine has been, the Joint Committee for
Vaccination and Immunisation have made the decision to change to a one dose programme
from 1st September 2023. This includes all young people who have already commenced the
HPV programme prior to 1st September 2023.
The date for Year 8 boys and girls to be immunised is Thursday 25 May 2023
From September 2019 the Immunisation Team will be using E-consents to significantly reduce the amount of admin undertaken by both schools and themselves. Please click on the documents below for more information and how to register.
