Pastoral Support
All Sixth Form students belong to one of two houses: Clumber or Sherwood.
The house system plays a central role in creating a strong sense of community, belonging and friendly competition within the Sixth Form. Through our vertical tutoring system, students from Years 12 and 13 work together, allowing younger students to benefit from the experience and guidance of older peers while developing leadership opportunities for senior students. Throughout the year, students take part in a range of house competitions, charitable events and enrichment activities, fostering teamwork, school spirit and positive relationships across the Sixth Form community.
The Sixth Form team is made up of experienced and dedicated staff who have supported and guided Sixth Form students for many years. We recognise that key transitions can bring both opportunities and challenges, whether moving from Year 11 into Year 12, progressing into Year 13, or preparing for higher education, apprenticeships and employment. Our team is committed to helping students navigate these important stages with confidence, providing personalised guidance and support to maximise their potential, achieve their goals and realise their aspirations. Together, we work in partnership to ensure every student is equipped for success both during Sixth Form and beyond.
